Artist Statement

My work is primarily a visual display of spiritual growth and detailed introspection. I often have visions of myself in nature that I recreate as a translation of a revelation God has given me about myself surrounding my character.

Sometimes my paintings  are visual prayers of hope or gratitude. Because of this, I am the subject of many of my pieces. I am also largely inspired by the concept of mental health, social justice, emotional well being and healing aspects of ourselves after proper soul searching. My preferred medium is acrylic, with more recent exploration with collage lettering. I love exploring bold colors and creating textures with paint.
